After ten years of living in a dark woodsy styled home this California transplant client was desiring to update their home to a fresher lighter coastal style. The home renovation incorporated the dark stained alder doors, original wood floors but minimized the dark woodsy style with lighter colors and transitional design elements such as refacing the fireplace in the family room.
